Details: KELOLAND Media Group, in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a Local Sales Assistant. The Sales Assistant is a key position that works within an established Sales Department to maximize station revenue opportunities from an order entry, traffic, and accounting perspective. KELOLAND Media Group is currently seeking a motivated, detail oriented Local Sales Assistant to be an integral part of the sales team.
Job Duties:
Performs all clerical functions for the Sales Department
Work in collaboration with all facets of the sales department: national sales, local sales, digital sales traffic, and research
Maintains awareness of the most current traffic policies, practices, and procedures
Enters order, traffic and accounting data using computers, ledgers, orders, and other resources
Corresponds with customers and confers with coworkers to answer inquiries and resolve account problems
Work with corporate A/R department to manage invoices, discrepancy claims and collection issues
Problem-solving and deductive reasoning is required to accomplish tasks
Prepares forms and reports
Maintains files and other business records
Perform or assist with additional projects and duties as assigned
Requirements:
Highschool Diploma
Personable with excellent verbal and written communications skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Strong work ethic
Ability to work under strict deadlines
Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, and other office equipment
Ability to work with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is a plus
Ability to learn industry software
One year’s experience in clerical support or administrative assistance, preferably in the sales or media fields
