ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

•    Calls on prospects and presents outlines of various programs or commercial announcements.

•    Persuades customers to purchase radio time by presenting information on various programs that will draw customers to their businesses.

•    Prepares promotional plans, sales literature, time rates, and sales contracts.

•    Develops and maintains relationships with clients by providing top quality customer service.

•    Investigates and resolves customer problems.

•    Communicates with other departments to assure quality service in placing orders, and arranging live broadcasts and promotions.

•    Collects prompt payment from clients.

•    Maintains required records and paperwork.

•    Attends sales staff meetings and training sessions.

•    Attends on location broadcasts for clients and station events.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

•    High school diploma; one year sales or related customer service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

•    Job Type: Full-time

•    Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 variable commission based income after initial training wage lasting 30-60 days.

•    Job Requirements: High school diploma, valid driver’s license, ability to drive, and have transportation covered by state mandated automobile insurance, 1 year customer service, 1 year sales experience preferred.
