Digital and Media Specialist
Job Description
Riverfront Digital and Broadcasting in Yankton, SD is seeking a Digital and Media Specialist. The Digital and Media Specialist will develop, create and sell digital advertising solutions for our Riverfront Digital department. You will work independently and in conjunction with local marketing team to generate and grow digital sales revenue for the company. Candidate will also develop, create and sell advertising solutions with our radio and streaming video services.
Qualifications
• Understanding of various digital media platforms
• Knowledge to develop effective strategies for digital advertisers
• Ability to communicate and present to clients
• New business development skills
• Excellent follow up, strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals
• Understanding of Riverfront additional media products
• Being an effective partner with the Riverfront sales team in generating revenue
Responsibilities
• Work independently and in conjunction with the local sales team, sales management and local clients to grow our digital marketing services
• Create and execute digital strategies that are successful for clients and digital department revenue goals
• Prepare digital marketing proposals
• Follow up with campaign recaps and reports
• Be an effective seller and closer
• Establish, maintain and grow client relationships
• Develop and create digital strategies for Riverfront Digital and Broadcasting products
• Perform other duties as required
Requirements
• BA or BS in Business, marketing, advertising or communications preferred but not required
• Digital or media sales experience a plus
• Motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter who can work effectively both independently and collaborating in a team environment
• Strong follow up, organizational skills and attention to detail
